Alicia Jim\u00e9nez de la Riva, Executive Partner and Director<\/strong>, sums thirteen years of experience in the European financial industry having worked in several banks in Madrid before moving to Miami, where she founded and managed Funds Americas from 2010 to 2012. Previously she worked for 9 years as Head of Research for Self Bank (Group Soci\u00e8t\u00e8 Gen\u00e8rale and La Caixa), being part of the executive team since its creation in year 2000. Before that, she was an Equity Analyst during 4 years in the asset manager and the broker of Banco Santander.<\/p>\n alicia.jimenez@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Elena Santiso, Executive Partner and Sales and Business Development Director,<\/strong> adds more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry in Spain and the United States. She began her asset management career in the Investment Department of Banco Santader. She has also worked as portfolio manager for the Spanish firm N+1 and in Credit Agricole AM as institutional sales. Elena moved to Miami several years ago working initially for PRS Family Office \u2013member of EFG International-, as portfolio manager for Spanish and Latin American private clients. In 2011 Elena joined Funds Americas as Executive Editor.<\/p>\n elena.santiso@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alicia Miguel Serrano<\/strong>, Chief Editor and in charge of Funds Society for the Spanish market. She has 15 years of experience in the world of economic and financial journalism. She began her career at La Gaceta de los Negocios, where she wrote in the Markets section and continued at Funds People, where she developed content related to the investment fund industry. She has also collaborated with publications such as Investment and Finance, and prepared content for BBVA’s “Mi Jubilaci\u00f3n” project. She joined Funds Society in 2013 to develop the content proposal in the Spanish market and directs the newsletter and magazine in this market since its launch (the first one in 2014 and the second one, in January 2016). She is the coordinator of the global editorial team from the Madrid office, established in 2018, which includes both Funds Society and Futuro a Fondo. She has a degree in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid and has a Master in Economic Information Specialist from the Association of Economic Information Journalists (APIE) and the University of Zaragoza.<\/p>\n alicia.miguel@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Beatriz Z\u00fa\u00f1iga<\/strong> is in charge of the morning newsletter at Funds Society. Based in Madrid, she has more than ten years of experience in economic journalism. She has worked in publications such as Actualidad Econ\u00f3mica, Expansi\u00f3n, La Gaceta de los Negocios and Revista Dinero. She graduated from the Villanueva University Center in 2008, a center attached to the Complutense University of Madrid and, among other complementary formations, completed the postgraduate degree in economic training Specialist in Economic Information, by the Association of Economic Information Journalists (APIE) and the University Men\u00e9ndez Pelayo International (UIMP), in 2015.<\/p>\n beatriz.zuniga@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ana Llorens <\/strong>is an economics and finance journalist with over 15 years of experience. She has worked in the Intereconom\u00eda Group, Capital Radio, Forbes, Dirigentes and El Pa\u00eds. Since 2016 she is part of the editorial team of Funds Society in Spain and since 2017 she is Editor in Chief for Futuro a Fondo, a financial education website, belonging to the same communication group. Ana has a degree in Information Sciences (Journalism) from the University of Misissippi and a Master in Economic Information from the University of Zaragoza.<\/p>\n ana.llorens@futuroafondo.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Magdalena Mart\u00ednez Vial<\/strong>, Based in Montevideo, she is in charge of the newsletter for Latin America and is the director of the magazine in the Americas. She has more than 25 years of experience in international media such as El Pa\u00eds, Agence France Presse (AFP), Radio Francia Internacional (RFI) or Euronews, among others. She studied Journalism and Communication at the Free University of Brussels and is the author of the guide book “Montevideo, the sleeping beauty”.<\/p>\n magdalena.martinez@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Gabriela Huerta<\/strong> is a Mexican journalist specializing in finance and asset management. Since 2015 she writes for Funds Society, where she is Editor for the in English website and Offshore newsletter. During the previous two years she was part of the team that launched El Financiero Bloomberg TV, where she worked as an analyst and news anchor. Before joining Bloomberg, she was a correspondent for the Mexican market at Funds Society, a group he has joined since its inception. She previously worked with the founders of Funds Society in Funds Americas, where she started in August 2011, while continuing as vice president of operations and finance at Tacit Knowledge, where she worked from 2007 to April 2012, before following her dream of becoming a journalist. Prior to Tacit Knowledge, she lived six years in Madrid where he worked as a stock market analyst at the Spanish Self Trade Bank, was part of a benchmarking study for Banco Santander Central Hispano and graduated from her MBA at the IEB, as well as her BA in International Business Studies at Saint Louis University.<\/p>\n gabriela.huerta@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Patricia Juli\u00e1<\/strong> is part of the Funds Society Latam team as an editor in Santiago, Chile. She has about 25 years of experience in the international financial sector having held most of her career in positions related to the management of life insurance portfolios and fixed-income pension funds. Patricia has a degree in business sciences from the European Business School, CEFA (Ceritfied European Financial Analyst) from the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts and in addition to Spanish she speaks fluently English, French and Portuguese.<\/p>\n patricia.julia@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Irene Valiente<\/strong> is in charge of sponsored content in Funds Society. In addition to devoting herself to economic information, she specializes in cultural journalism and collaborates in travel guides. She began her career at the Cadena SER and later worked at the Efe Agency, first in the section of companies in Madrid and later as a correspondent in Buenos Aires. She has also collaborated with several digital and paper magazines as editor of feminism, culture, leisure and international relations. She graduated in Journalism at the Carlos III University of Madrid in 2014 and studied the International Journalism Master of the UNED.<\/p>\n irene.valiente@fundssociety.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sof\u00eda Cisneros Gav\u00edn <\/strong>graduated in 2019 in Journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid having completed a year at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels. She has experience in the world of sports journalism since she has collaborated with digital media such as Sports Capital or the press department of the Royal Spanish Fencing Federation where she launched the Women and Fencing project. She has recently joined the Futuro a Fondo and Funds Society team as junior editor.<\/p>\n sofia.cisneros@futuroafondo.com<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nazaret Mora<\/strong> is responsible for marketing and advertising at Funds Society. With a trajectory of more than fifteen years of experience linked to the financial sector, she began her professional development in the commercial network of banking entities such as Barclays Bank. She subsequently redirected her career to the world of marketing in 2014 with AXA IM. She has collaborated with European banks and national financial magazines such as Funds People, in which she co-led the strategy of digital transformation of the outlet.
